Obtained from the homonymous grape variety, it expresses itself in a completely different way in comparison to Pinot. The aromatic richness of this kind of grape is the hallmark of the sparkling wine Bassi Riesling Italico brut.

WINEMAKING: The wine-making technique foresees a short permanence on the yeasts present in the first fermentation; the enrichment of bubbles, in tanks with heat control, is stopped by means of temperature sinking when the needed overpressure is reached; the maturing occurs at ca. zero °C to favour the preservation of the aroma contained in the grapes.

CHARACTER: During winetasting it turns out to be exclusive for its nuances of perfume and taste; the wine preserves its original aroma of the varietal grape; the taste is soft and it has a pleasant and delicate aftertaste. With this product the Bassi Winery wanted to create aromatic sensations that only few varietal grapes such as Riesling are able to express.

WINE PAIRING: Suitable as aperitif, for hors d'oeuvres and soups, but it can also enhance food tastes in a full meal.

PRESERVATION: It must be stored in a dry and dark place at a temperature between 13 and 16°C.
